The final will take place at the Arun Jaitely Stadium from 7:00 PM IST. The toss will take place 30 minutes before the start of the play. With 4 wins from 10 matches, Lions finished third in the points table. They suffered 3 defeats. 3 of their matches were washed out due to rain.Kings topped the points table and registered 7 wins. They only suffered 2 defeats while one of their matches was washed out. They punched their ticket to the final with a win over East Delhi Riders in the first qualifier.Since Lions finished third, they had to win the eliminator and the second qualifier to book a berth in the final. Captain Nitish did wonders with the bat in both the must-win matches.The left-handed batsman smashed an unbeaten 135 off 55 balls against South Delhi Superstarz in the eliminator. Chasing a big target of 202, Lions were 2 down for 21 in the third over. Nitish almost single-handedly propelled his team to the win.Nitish, who made his return to Delhi cricket recently, remained unbeaten on 45 off 29 balls in the second qualifier against defending champions, East Delhi Riders. Ayush Doseja hit a half-century as Lions chased down 140 in 17.3 overs.All eyes will be on Nitish once again. His solid performances could now see him make his return to the Delhi senior team.
