Share this News:Gahunje, 30th January 2025: A heavy police presence has been deployed for the fourth T20 cricket match between India and England, scheduled for 7 PM tomorrow at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Gahunje, Maval Taluka, Pune District. The Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate (PCPC), through the Talegaon Dabhade Police Station and Traffic Branch, has implemented stringent security measures for the high-profile event.The security arrangements include over 450 police personnel on duty, comprising 2 Deputy Commissioners of Police, 3 Assistant Commissioners of Police, 20 Police Inspectors, and 55 Police Sub-Inspectors. Authorities have designated 12 parking slots for spectators’ vehicles and imposed strict regulations prohibiting direct vehicle access to the stadium.Senior Police Inspector Pradeep Rayannawar of Talegaon Dabhade Police Station has urged cricket enthusiasts to comply with the rules and enjoy the match responsibly. Spectators are banned from carrying water bottles, cloth banners, bags, and purses into the stadium.Authorities emphasize that spectators must use only the designated parking areas and refrain from bringing vehicles directly to the stadium premises. These measures aim to ensure smooth traffic flow and maintain security during the international cricket event.The match, part of the ongoing T20 series between India and England, is anticipated to draw a large crowd, necessitating these comprehensive security arrangements. Cricket fans are advised to cooperate with law enforcement to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
