Those include Todd Snyder and Breitling.Naadam was started in 2013 by college friends Matthew Scanlan and Diederik Rijsemus who found themselves stranded among Mongolian goat herders while on vacation. They wound up befriending the herders and realized they could buy the fiber directly from them, rather than a middleman, which would allow their new friends to get paid more and them to create and sell luxury knitwear for less.
