Chants at disabled St Mirren fan treated as hate crimePolice have launched a hate crime probe after Aberdeen fans were filmed chanting abuse at a disabled St Mirren fan during a football match.The force said it had been alerted to a video of the incident, which the BBC has seen, posted on social media following Saturday's match at St Mirren Park.It shows Aberdeen supporters using offensive language and jeering at the fan, who is visibly upset.Insp Megan Logan said the abuse was "despicable" and that officers were keen to trace those involved.
