No. 17 Kansas State battles No. 22 Iowa State in one of the biggest Week 0 matchups in recent memory. The clash between the two teams takes place as part of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, and marks the first FBS game of the 2025 college football season.

The Cyclones stormed to a program-record 11 wins and Big 12 Championship Game appearance in 2024 behind a breakout season from quarterback Rocco Becht. Kansas State won nine games for the third straight season but hopes to take another step forward in the second year under star quarterback Avery Johnson.

Both Iowa State and Kansas State have serious Big 12 championship aspirations and would help their cases tremendously with a win in Ireland. Iowa State has won four of the last five games between these two teams, including a 29-21 victory over the Wildcats to close out the 2024 season.
