Arch Manning's $6.8 million NIL value revealed as Texas QB takes center stage

Arch Manning doesn’t have to wait for the NFL to cash in.

The Texas quarterback’s Name, Image and Likeness is the most valuable in college football, according to On3’s NIL valuations, which peg the junior as holding $6.8 million in value.

Manning, the nephew of Peyton and Eli, embarks on his first season as the Longhorns’ starter Saturday at No. 3 Ohio State in a mammoth Week 1 matchup after sitting behind Quinn Ewers for his first two college seasons.

Top-ranked Texas has a chance to lay down a marker against the defending champion Buckeyes at Ohio Stadium, with Manning being thrown straight into the fire as he takes the reins.

Manning got into 10 games last season as the backup to Ewers, while starting a pair, and completed 61 of 90 passes for 939 yards and nine touchdowns with two interceptions.

Texas finished 13-3, losing in the CFP Semifinal to Ohio State after beating Clemson and Arizona State in the playoffs.

The list of brands with which Manning has partnered is already extensive, including Red Bull, Vuori, Warby Parker, Raising Canes and Uber.

Manning’s likeness is also included on Panini America cards and in the EA Sports College Football video game.

If Texas lives up to the preseason hype, the opportunities for Manning will only grow.

As a famous name playing quarterback for a blue-blood program, there’s no limit to the money Manning can make in college football’s new landscape.

Though the House v. NCAA settlement and the ever-changing landscape in college football will likely make it short-lived, there’s every chance Manning will end this season as the richest college athlete of all-time.
