Week 7 of fantasy football is here, and I’ve identified my top waiver wire targets. These players are rostered in less than 60% of Fantrax leagues. To accommodate various league formats and roster sizes, I’ve offered multiple options to help you find the best fit for your team.More Week 7 Fantasy Football Fun!: | Sneaky Starts | Fantasy Football Waiver Wire | Weekly Sleepers & Streamers | Starts & Sits | Skrip’s Week Winners | NFL DFS | NFL Player Props | IDP Analysis | Bold Predictions | Survivor Picks | NFL Injury Report | Dynasty Trade Targets | Weekly Rankings | Dynasty Risers and FallersWaiver Wire Winners for Fantasy Football – Week 7Kimani Vidal (Chargers RB)With Omarion Hampton out in Week 6, Kimani Vidal was the true RB1 for the Chargers. 18 rushing attempts for 124 yards and three catches for 14 receiving yards and a touchdown resulted in 22.8 Fantasy Points. Hassan Haskins produced 23 yards on seven opportunities, so it was not even close to a committee. Hampton is on the IR, with reports on Monday indicating he is likely to miss more than four games. Vidal has a shot at being very relevant for weeks.Jaxson Dart (Giants QB)No Malik Nabers? No problem for Jaxson Dart in Week 6. 195 passing yards and a touchdown paired with 58 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown for 23.6 Fantasy Points. Week 6 was the third straight game Dart rushed for 54-58 yards, the second game with a rushing touchdown, and the second game over 19 Fantasy Points. He is an elite playmaker in the making.Kendrick Bourne (49ers WR)The irony of Kendrick Bourne is that he has now finished with EXACTLY 142 receiving yards in back-to-back games. 10 catches on 11 targets in Week 5 (24.2 Fantasy Points) and five catches on nine targets (19.2 Fantasy Points) in Week 6. Talk about rising to the opportunity with so many injuries in San Fran. Bourne continues to earn his role, and it’s encouraging to see both Brock Purdy and Mac Jones looking good this year.Romeo Doubs (Packers WR)Romeo Doubs scored a touchdown in Week 2 and then scored three touchdowns in Week 4. It is clear he has that upside paired with Jordan Love. Also encouraging is the eight then nine targets the last two weeks from Love, on a team that is still without Jayden Reed. Volume paired with touchdown upside is a great combo worth a waiver move.Josh Downs (Colts WR)Josh Downs caught six of his eight targets for 51 yards back in Week 2. Downs went quiet the next two weeks, but has been rising in Weeks 5 and 6. 15 total targets across the last two weeks with six catches in each game for 54 then 42 yards with a touchdown in Week 6. We have seen Downs have plenty of Fantasy relevance since being in the NFL, so rising in a solid Colts offense is appealing.Bam Knight (Cardinals RB)Despite Michael Carter operating as the RB1 for the Cardinals in Week 5, Bam Knight still managed to score a touchdown on five touches. Reports came out that Knight would operate in Week 6 as the RB1, and he did just that from a production standpoint. Knight’s 11 rushing attempts were just two more than Carter’s, but he rushed for 34 yards and another score. Knight also added a 20-yard reception. This will likely be a committee moving forward, so we should follow the touches and production.Sam Darnold (Jets RB)Sam Darnold has been sneaky good, which should not be a shocker because he was rock solid last year as a Viking. Jaxon Smith-Njigba also looks like the best wide receiver in the NFL. For five straight weeks, Darnold has finished with over 15 Fantasy Points, which seems like a safe floor. He has scored 27.6 and then 20 points the last two weeks. Across the last five weeks, Darnold has averaged 278.2 passing yards and 2.2 passing touchdowns.Mason Taylor (Jets TE)Let’s just wipe the whole Jets offense against a solid Broncos defense in Week 6, as their offense was a disaster. Back in Week 4, rookie Mason Taylor caught five of his seven targets for 65 yards, which was 11.5 Fantasy Points. Then in Week 6, Taylor caught nine of his 12 targets for 67 yards, which was 17.7 Fantasy Points. Solid targets and solid production those two weeks. Garrett Wilson is now set to miss some time, so Taylor’s role will be even more vital with a weak receiving room as Fields’ new Cole Kmet.Tyler Allgeier (Falcons RB)I am currently watching Monday Night Football while typing this up, and Tyler Allgeier rushed for his third touchdown of the season in this game. Prior to Week 6, Allgeier has had two weeks of double-digit Fantasy Points, two weeks of 16+ touches, and two weeks over 50 rushing yards. While Allgeier is an upside handcuff, he is also a guy who can have stand-alone value.Kendre Miller (Saints RB)I still have a sneaky suspicion that Alvin Kamara is a trade candidate, but even if he remains a Saint, Kendre Miller has been getting some consistent work the last three weeks. 11, 11, and nine touches the last three games with 65 rushing yards and a touchdown back in Week 4. Stash running backs who are touching the ball, especially with older veterans ahead of them on the depth chart.Harold Fannin Jr. (Browns RB)Rookie Harold Fannin Jr. had his best game to date in Week 6, catching seven of his 10 targets for 81 yards, which was 15.1 Fantasy Points. Fannin was coming off a touchdown in Week 5, and Week 6 was the third game he had with double-digit Fantasy Points. David Njoku also got banged up in Week 6, which could potentially mean an elevated role. But even if not (I do hope Njoku is good), Fannin has looked solid this year.Tre Tucker (Raiders WR)Tre Tucker has finished weeks with 54, 145, 62, and 70 receiving yards, which consist of four games of 14-27 yards per catch. Big-play upside is very evident out of Tucker, who has had four games of five or more targets and two games of eight or more targets. Shooting for upside in Fantasy matchups becomes necessary at times, and the Raiders are more likely to chase a lot of games vs. not.Kenneth Gainwell (Steelers RB)In Week 4, with Jaylen Warren a late scratch, Kenneth Gainwell totaled 25 touches for 134 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns for 31.4 Fantasy Points. Following the Week 5 BYE, Jaylen Warren returned to out-touch Gainwell 13-12, but Gainwell’s six catches for the second game in a row are significant to note. This will likely be a committee, but running backs who catch balls have always been a solid boost for Fantasy Football.Tyjae Spears (Titans RB)Tyjae Spears missed the opening four games due to injury, then returned in Week 5 to touch the ball four times. In Week 6, Spears rushed five times for 31 yards (6.2 yards per carry) and caught four balls for 19 yards. Tony Pollard out-touched Spears 12-nine, but Spears played 59% of the snaps. Spears is creating a committee with just two games into the season here.Kayshon Boutte (Patriots WR)Kayshon Boutte opened up the season catching six balls for 103 yards on eight targets for 16.3 Fantasy Points. Boutte scored a touchdown in Week 2 right after. In Week 6, Boutte caught all five targets for 93 yards and two touchdowns, which was 26.3 Fantasy Points. While Boutte might not be the most consistent option, he has some clear upside attached to Drake Maye, who is playing like an MVP candidate.Luther Burden III (Bears WR)As I am typing up this article, rookie Luther Burden III has three catches for 42 yards (14 yards per catch). He did have that three-catch, 101-yard, and a touchdown game back in Week 3 for 19.8 Fantasy Points. You cannot play Burden right now, but I am a big believer in the talent and Ben Johnson’s rising Bears offense. He’s a good stash, especially with rookie wide receivers historically being better in the second half of the season.Hollywood Brown (Chiefs WR)Rashee Rice will return from suspension in Week 7, but Hollywood Brown should continue to have an important role on the outside in this Chiefs offense. Brown has four games over 40 receiving yards, with 99 in Week 1 and 45+ in the last two games. Brown scored two touchdowns in Week 6, which marks three total across the last three games. Brown has historical Fantasy relevance as a former first-round talent, and being attached to Patrick Mahomes, who is balling, is a good thing.Christian Kirk (Texans WR)Christian Kirk earned eight targets in his Texans debut back in Week 3, then finished with 65 yards on four catches in Week 5 before the Week 6 BYE. Kirk has only earned four targets in each of his last two games, but for me, he is CJ Stroud’s WR2 out of the slot moving forward.Christian Watson (Packers WR)Christian Watson could make his 2025 debut in Week 7, or soon after. Watson is coming off a torn ACL, but it is important to note that he has had historic receiving yard and touchdown upside as a Packer. There still is no clear-cut WR1 for Jordan Love, so Watson could step in and earn a field-stretching role.Justice Hill (Falcons RB)Running backs who catch passes matter for Fantasy Football, and Justice Hill has flashed there this season after flashing last season. Hill has caught five passes in two of his last three games, finished two weeks with over 40 receiving yards, and scored a receiving touchdown in Week 4. Hill also rushed for 76 yards on just three carries with a touchdown in Week 4.Zay Jones (Cardinals WR)In Week 6, Zay Jones caught five of his eight targets for 79 yards, which was 12.9 Fantasy Points. This came with Jacoby Brissett, but it is important to note that Marvin Harrison Jr. suffered a concussion, which could mean an elevated role for Week 7.Evan Engram (Broncos TE)Evan Engram opened up the first three weeks, not looking healthy, and missed Week 3. In Weeks 4-6, Engram has earned seven, six, and six targets with 29, 33, then 42 receiving yards. Engram is slowly rising and can be an important pass-catcher the rest of the season for Bo Nix.Jalen Coker (Panthers WR)Jalen Coker has been on the IR, but can return to action soon. As a rookie last season, he finished weeks with 17.8, 21, and 13.98 Fantasy Points. There is no clear-cut WR2 for Bryce Young, so Coke has an opportunity to step into a big role when he is back.Michael Mayer (Raiders TE)I really liked Michael Mayer as a prospect, and his profile popped in Week 6 with Brock Bowers out. Five catches on seven targets for 50 yards and a touchdown for 16 Fantasy Points. If Brock Bowers misses more time, Mayer can have solid Fantasy relevance.Elic Ayomanor (Titans WR)Rookie Elic Ayomanor has finished five weeks with five or more targets, two weeks with a touchdown, and two weeks with over 13 Fantasy Points. Calvin Ridley suffered a hamstring injury, so Ayomanor can be even more important moving forward, even in a struggling Titans offense.Cade Otton (Buccaneers TE)Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Emeka Egbuka are all currently injured. I am not sure the timelines for any of these guys, but I do know Cade Otton stepped up big for Baker Mayfield last season when needed. Otton has earned five then six targets the last two weeks with 81 and 51 receiving yards for 12.1/10.1 Fantasy Points.Oronde Gasden II (Chargers TE)Rookie Oronde Gasden II caught five of seven targets for 46 yards back in Week 3. In Week 6, Gasden caught seven of his eight targets for 68 yards, which was 11.8 Fantasy Points. Gasden had a solid pass-catching profile as a prospect and has shown some target-earning potential attached to Justin Herbert.Jordan Whittington (Rams WR)Puka Nacua suffered an ankle injury to monitor in Week 6. If Puka misses time, Jordan Whittington will have an important role in an offense where Matthew Stafford has had a ton of passing upside. Tutu Atwell has also been banged up, so Whittington can have a big role with Davante Adams at least for a short run.Ryan Flournoy (Cowboys RB)In Week 5, Ryan Flournoy caught six of his nine targets for 114 yards and rushed twice for 10 yards, which was 18.4 Fantasy Points. Flournoy earned six targets in Week 6, but caught half of those for 30 yards and rushed for three yards. The targets have been decent the last two weeks with CeeDee Lamb still out, and we know Dallas will have to throw the ball a ton with how bad their defense is. I like the rushing usage here too.Josh Reynolds (Jets WR)Garrett Wilson is set to miss some time, which means Josh Reynolds can be a riser. This one is pretty simple here, as there are minimal pass-catchers in New York for Justin Fields.
