India T20I, ODI Squads For Australia Tour 2025 Announcement Live Updates: In what will be the dawn of a new era in ODI cricket for India, the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) national selectors have decided to name Shubman Gill as the India ODI captain for the limited overs tour of Australia, The Indian Express’ Devendra Pandey reports. Gill’s elevation means that Rohit Sharma will not lead the team.

Pandey adds in his report that Rohit and the other stalwart, Virat Kohli, are still in the side to tour Australia.
