Australia's Nathan Lyon chews gum as he walks to his fielding position during the day one of the second cricket test match between Australia and India at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide, Australia. (AP)Australian spinner Nathan Lyon said that it’ll be a challenge for the defending champions against South Africa at Lord’s for the World Test Championship final due to the foreign conditions and the use of Dukes balls. The current Australian side is jampacked with talent that were a part of the 2015 and 2023 ODI World Cup winning team as well as the 2021 T20 World Cup winning side.“Having the experience of the guys who have won three (50-over) World Cups and T20 World Cups and obviously the World Test Championship final a couple of years ago, that experience and that pressure in those higher games, it’s going to be, it’s on our side, isn’t it, but it doesn’t mean anything when you come to the game. South Africa have got some world class batters and obviously they’ve got some unbelievable bowlers there as well so it’s going to be a good challenge and obviously it’s a one-off Test match,” Lyon said to ICC.
