Ruben Amorim secured the biggest win of his Man United tenure against Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday."What have you got for us, then?" someone jokingly said to Liverpool legend John Barnes as he left Anfield.Despite Manchester United's victory, Barnes was in good form and laughed as he stuck up his middle finger to journalists. The chuckles from the media would have been heard from the dressing room.Senne Lammens was the first to head for the team bus and stopped to speak to reporters for six minutes after a request from the Manchester Evening News, discussing the biggest game of his career, the long ball approach at Anfield and his 'social media exploding' since his summer transfer from Royal Antwerp."There are not a lot of feelings in the world like this, I think," he said. "Playing in front of the fans two weeks ago was a dream come true, with the clean sheet and the win, but today is a different kind of day."Omar Berrada (United CEO) and Jason Wilcox (director of football) clasped hands with a United staff member. Berrada was asked what he made of the 2-1 victory and responded: "Happy!"Wilcox said he was "very happy". Both United chiefs had huge smiles on their faces, a contrast to the expression on Virgil van Dijk's face when he came out to front up to the Liverpool pack.“It’s been a while… not in my time we’ve been losing four in a row," said Van Dijk. “We’ve been through difficult times in different circumstances and it is always a challenge, but it is one we have to deal with."Van Dijk was interrupted by Joshua Zirkzee as the forward emerged from the dressing room and the pair exchanged a few words.Zirkzee also embraced fellow countryman Tijjani Reijnders in the mixed zone after the 3-0 defeat to Manchester City.Luke Shaw would have found his car keys, wallet and Alexander Isak on his kitchen table at home when he emptied his pockets on Sunday evening. Isak walked through the mixed zone with his hood up.Liverpool forward Hugo Ekitike walked through next with an entourage the size of a small army.Bruno Fernandes and Matheus Cunha walked side-by-side, laughing and sharing jokes as they left for the United team bus. Cunha has not scored since joining from Wolves, but his impact has been huge.Diogo Dalot spoke to Manchester-based correspondents: "You can imagine the feeling inside the dressing room, it took me eight years to win at Anfield."So obviously really proud of everyone involved, the players, the staff, everybody on the bench. Great feeling, a beautiful day for us and the fans. Everybody has to enjoy today."Harry Maguire couldn't wipe the smile from his face as he spoke. "Yeah, the battery's going," he smiled about the messages on his phone."Amazing moment. I've had some great, great times at this club and some big winners. Obviously, Lyon and then to get the winner at Anfield, it's a great moment for me, a great moment for my family, and yeah, one I'm really proud of because it has been tough coming here."It was an excellent day for Manchester United in Merseyside.-Here at the Manchester Evening News, we’re dedicated to bringing you the best Manchester United coverage and analysis.Make sure you don’t miss out on the latest United news by joining our free WhatsApp group.
