Another week passes, and Mikel Arteta is closing in on taking his players away for their pre-season tour of Asia when the team flies on July 19. Some new faces will be on the flight, including Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Noni Madueke is expected to join the group later after being allowed his entitled holiday due to his season being extended because of his participation at the Club World Cup with Chelsea. Cristhian Mosquera, though, does look set to sign and join the team on the trip.

There is still a waiting game, however, with Viktor Gyokeres, with both Arsenal and Sporting CP locked in talks to work out the breakdown of the fee that has been agreed overall. Now Liverpool’s move for Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike has sent the fan base into something of a spiral.
