Owls Wrap Up Play at Dragon Invitational

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple men's tennis team competed in the Dragon Invitational in a three-day event that spanned from Nov. 7 to Nov. 9.

How It Happened

• Temple opened the weekend in doubles play with a strong showing against Villanova, taking three of four behind wins from the pairs of Alberto Blumenschein and Aayush Bhat, Pranav Nemani and Harshith Pennabadi, and closing with Erden Er and Matteo Crespi.

• In singles action versus Drexel, the Owls earned four victories as Bhat, Maj Najvirt Kolaric, Blumenschein, and Crespi each secured wins.

• Temple closed competition against FDU with another four singles wins, highlighted by straight-set victories from Crespi, Blumenschein, and Pennabadi, while Kolaric battled through a third-set tiebreak to clinch his match.
