Will Lorenz, Mani Liddy, Josh Lai and Tom Anastasopoulos have each signed one-year contract extensions.

Port Adelaide quartet Will Lorenz, Mani Liddy, Josh Lai and Tom Anastasopoulos have all received one-year contract extensions, keeping them at the club until at least the end of 2026.

Second-year players Lorenz and Anastasopoulos both arrived at Alberton in the 2023 national draft, with Lorenz playing eight games at AFL level since.

The 20-year-old midfielder scored his first goal in black, white and teal against Hawthorn in Round 19 and has averaged 11.6 disposals from six games in 2025.

Anastasopoulos is yet to have an opportunity at the top level but has provided some spark for the Magpies in the SANFL over the past two seasons.

Mid-season draftee Mani Liddy arrived in May from Central District, with the former air conditioner technician not having to wait long to make his AFL debut.

The 23-year-old and his signature leg sleeve have featured nine times since, after slotting in nicely at the top level.

Josh Lai landed on Port Adelaide’s list in the supplementary selection period earlier this year, plucked from Melbourne Southern League club Cheltenham.

Boasting exceptional aerial marking ability and good skills at ground level, the 19-year-old has averaged 16 disposals, five marks and two inside-50s from 15 SANFL games in 2025.

List manager Jason Cripps congratulated the four boys on their extensions.

“Congratulations to Will, Tom, Mani, and Josh on earning another year at Port Adelaide,” Cripps said.

“Will has been a real standout at SANFL level this year, which has led to him having more opportunities to play AFL football, while Mani has fit into our group well after being selected in the mid-season draft.

“Both players have plenty of upside and have shown they are certainly capable at AFL level.

“Tom and Josh have settled well into our system and have contributed strongly to our SANFL side in 2025. They’ll continue to develop positively in our system with another full pre-season behind them, and will work hard to put themselves into AFL selection contention in 2026.”
