This will be at St Helens Stadium and for the three games already confirmed at Anfield.LFC are one of 14 clubs taking part in the trial across the WSL and WSL 2 for the 2025-26 campaign.Unlike men's football in the UK, the women's professional game does not prohibit the consumption of alcohol in view of the pitch.Last season, an initial version of the trial took place across four WSL 2 clubs – Birmingham City, Bristol City, Newcastle United and Southampton.This ran across 19 league fixtures between January and May 2025 and involved more than 51,000 supporters.Following a successful evaluation across fans, clubs and matchday staff, 13 clubs across both divisions – including LFC Women – have signed up for the second phase of the pilot that will run throughout the 2025-26 season.From a club perspective, players and match officials noted no change to fan behaviour, while average expenditure by fans at stadiums, with regards to food and drink, increased across the fixtures, alongside a growth in attendances.LFC has consulted with key stakeholders – including official supporter groups – and will continue to consult with the Supporters Board and wider fans to ensure a successful rollout of this trial.Fans at both stadiums have the option to select tickets in the family and alcohol-free area should they prefer an alcohol-free environment while seated for the game. Alcohol will still be sold in the concourse kiosks of these areas.Season tickets to support the women's team are available to buy now here .
