Manchester United continue being linked with multiple players this month as work behind the scenes to bolster their squad continues.

On Tuesday, the Manchester Evening News reported Sancho had reached an agreement with Fenerbahce for a contract worth around £8.5million per year. After a season on loan with Chelsea, Sancho is not part of Ruben Amorim's plans and is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer.

However, there has been an update since yesterday. With that said, MEN Sport has taken a close look at the latest headlines.

£9m bargain

United are reportedly showing interest in Leicester midfielder Wilfred Ndidi. According to talkSPORT, Ndidi is available for a cut-price fee following Leicester's relegation to the Championship.

After signing a new three-year contract extension last summer, the deal included a £9million relegation clause. In addition to the Reds, Everton are also said to have renewed their interest in the 28-year-old, while clubs from Saudi Arabia are reportedly monitoring his situation.

Manchester Evening News Sport says: "For a fee of just £9 million, this wouldn’t be a bad signing for the Reds. Ndidi has been a key player for Leicester since 2017, gaining valuable experience over several seasons in the Premier League.

"The Nigerian could help bring much-needed stability to United's midfield. His familiarity with the pace and physicality of English football means he could adapt quickly and make an immediate impact."

Jadon Sancho 'twist'

Juventus are reportedly trying to 'hijack' a deal for Sancho following reports the winger agreed personal terms with Fenerbahce. On Tuesday, Turkish outlet Sabah Spor claimed that Sancho has accepted a contract offer worth around £8.5m per year with negotiations with United underway.

However, it now appears that Juventus have entered the race. Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, claims the Serie A side are set to hold a video call with United over the winger on Wednesday.

Manchester Evening News Sport says: "Certainly, for Sancho’s career, it would be more beneficial to play in Italy, where the league is much more demanding and competitive than the Super Lig. Assuming Sancho aims to return to the England squad for next year’s World Cup, a move to Juventus would keep him in the spotlight.

"Ultimately, however, United should accept the proposal that makes the most financial sense for the club."

Emi Martinez 'alternative' eyed

Football Insider claim United's attention has turned to French goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier as Emi Martinez reportedly has his heart set on a move to Atletico Madrid.

As a result, the report claims that a move for the Lille shot-stopper is being 'weighed up' by Ruben Amorim's side. Chevalier is believed to be valued at around £40m.

Manchester Evening News Sport says: "If true, this could be a major blow for Amorim and Co. Martinez’s arrival would have provided a crucial upgrade over Onana - boosting the squad’s confidence and stability at the back. As for Chevalier, at just 23 years old, he is still very much in the early stages of his career, with his best years ahead of him.

"However, making the step up to the Premier League would represent a significant challenge and a major leap from Ligue 1, and adapting to the faster pace and physicality of English football could be demanding."
