Jadon Sancho transfer latest as Aston Villa explore Man United move on deadline dayJadon Sancho could join Aston Villa from Manchester United on deadline dayJadon Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea (Image: Paul Currie/Shutterstock)Aston Villa are exploring the possibility of signing Jadon Sancho before tonight’s 7pm transfer deadline. The Manchester United winger has emerged as a target as Villa look to strengthen their attack following a disappointing start to the campaign.Villa have failed to score in each of their first three Premier League matches for the first time since the 1997/98 season, following a draw with Newcastle and successive defeats to Brentford and Newcastle United.Emi Martinez was left out of the squad to face Crystal Palace amid interest from Manchester United, although their primary goalkeeping target remains Senne Lammens of Royal Antwerp.A potential move for Sancho is separate to Martinez's possible move to Old Trafford.United are keen to find a permanent solution to Sancho’s future, but a loan move appears more likely for the 25-year-old, who spent last season at Chelsea. He returned to United after the West London club paid a £5 million penalty to terminate their obligation to buy him.Villa are also set to confirm the signing of Victor Lindelöf on a free transfer, and will need to secure a new number one goalkeeper if Martinez completes a move to United. What do you make of the news?
