Season 2025: ELF's distribution success story continues

0
Season 5 was another very successful year for the European League of Football in terms of distribution. For the first time, ELF Game Pass could be purchased and streamed through the global sports platform DAZN. This partnership gave the ELF an even wider distribution network for its premium Game Pass offering.

Moreover, DAZN enabled ELF games to be consumed on more platforms and streaming devices than ever before. For fans, the service was more accessible in 2025 than at any time in the league’s history.

ELF's global footprint

The numbers underline both global visibility and worldwide interest. In 2025, the Game Pass service was purchased in 80 countries and used in 108 countries across the globe. This corresponds to more than 50% of all countries worldwide.

In addition, all ELF games were also available worldwide as single streams (Pay-per-view) through the platform sportworld. That means, fans from almost every part of the world can now follow the games, the teams, and the players. From Germany to Japan, from Brazil to South Africa - ELF football has become truly international.

Premium partners ProSiebenSat.1 and Fubo

In its largest market to date, Germany, ProSiebenSat.1 recorded particularly strong viewership numbers, especially during the playoffs. Meanwhile, the United States has developed into the league’s second-strongest market. New distribution partner Fubo significantly expanded ELF’s footprint in the United States. For example, the Week 9 clash between the Nordic Storm and Rhein Fire was carried on Fubo’s wide range of partner platforms, including Amazon Prime in the U.S.

The ELF also gained a new major partner in SportyTV, which delivered five-figure viewership numbers in Africa during the 2025 season - a market that had previously played only a minor role.

At the same time, long-standing partners also reported strong growth. In the Czech Republic for example, O2 Sport achieved a 50 percent increase in viewership for Prague Lions broadcasts. No surprise, since the Lions were more successful this season than ever before.
