The NFL regular season is only weeks away, and teams are hell-bent on making sure their players are ready for the gauntlet that’s NFL regular season football by the time it arrives. However, the players still manage to find ways to have fun and relax where they can.

On Thursday, the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles held a joint practice session. During the joint session, players on the sidelines from both teams got together and made the shocking decision to enjoy some beers with one another.

“Best pic of the summer: big men on both teams cracking open Miller Lites on the field after practice like they did in the 70s,” NFL analyst Warren Sharp posted on Twitter, along with a picture of the players with their beers.

Fans reacted to the moment on social media.

“Eagles OL singlehandedly bringing back redneck ball,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“The best part is Dickerson had surgery yesterday and showed up with a case of beer,” someone else added about Eagles guard Landon Dickerson, one of the players in the photo.

“They’d be CUT immediately from my team,” another person added.

It’ll be interesting to see if the players get punished by their teams for drinking on the job.
