The Playstation NBA Creator Cup Returns to Vegas

Basketball and digital culture collide once again as the PlayStation NBA Creator Cup returns for its fourth edition, bringing a fresh clash of top creators and viral stars to the court. The action begins July 9 at 10 p.m. ET, with live coverage on YouTube and the NBA App.

This year’s game will be held at The Pavilion at UNLV and tickets are on sale now.

Lineup

With a combined social following topping 150 million, this year’s PlayStation NBA Creator Cup roster features some of the most influential names in basketball and gaming content.

Jesser, Faze Rug and Strictly Bball’s Joe Doerrer will call all the action on the stream for the 2025 PlayStation NBA Creator Cup, bringing their signature blend of basketball insight and entertainment.

SypherPK: A 6-foot-4 gamer who has generated more than 5 billion views across his content on YouTube and Twitch. Sypher was recognized as an Icon by Epic Games, becoming one of the first to be immortalized as a playable character in Fortnite alongside celebrities such as Travis Scott, LeBron James and Lewis Hamilton.

D’Aydrian Harding: A comedic content creator who has built a following of more than 16 million across all platforms, Harding also started the Stay Sober brand that included a live Stay Sober Summer tour, where he performed a nationwide variety show.

YPK Raye: A dynamic athlete and personality, YPK blends basketball highlights with viral skits and off-court charisma.

Cam Wilder: Wilder is known for his energy and skill, has over 10 million followers and brings a touch of his unique sense of humor to continue entertaining his fans. Recently, Wilder has found major success chronicling his journey as the AAU coach of his own team, Rod Wave Elite.

Carson Roney: After playing college basketball at Shawnee State University, Roney has grown a large following with basketball-focused lifestyle content, trick shots and behind-the-scenes vlogs.

Kris London: London played college basketball at Oral Roberts and Newman University and is now one of YouTube’s most recognizable faces in the sports and gaming community. That’s not just because he’s hard to miss at 6-foot-10, but because his enthusiasm for sports and gaming has led him to more than 5 million followers across social media.

JDub: Jordan Wallace, aka “JDub,” played college basketball at Lamar University and Victoria College. He is now a popular content creator whose channel is a variety of all things basketball, comedy skits and vlogs that give fans an inside look at his life.

Jenna Bandy: A basketball content creator known for her trick shots, she also holds a Guinness World Record for the farthest football thrown into a target by a female.

Chris Staples: He has built one of the most unique careers in basketball. A professional dunker who’s directly inspired players such as Dwight Howard and Aaron Gordon, Staples spent four years with the Harlem Globetrotters and has won dunk contests around the world. He was a contestant on “The Bachelorette” and starred in the feature film “Slamma Jamma.”

Marcelas Howard: Howard, aka “The Backyard Legend,” is a former college basketball player turned content creator who primarily focuses on comedic basketball videos. He’s currently an assistant coach at American River College in Sacramento.

Pika: A gaming and basketball content creator known for engaging streams, highlights and crossover content across TikTok, YouTube and other platforms.

Bree Green: A former Harlem Globetrotter, Green brings dynamic skills and creative trick shots to social media, where she entertains fans with basketball, lifestyle and comedic content.

Meka: After playing college ball at North Country in Buffalo (N.Y.), Emeka Uzomba, aka “Meka,” has grown to more than 1 million followers on social media with a unique blend of comedy and basketball skills.

Trey Phills: A former Ivy League player turned content star, Phills blends high-IQ basketball with polished video production and smooth gameplay.

Bjorn Broman: A former Division 1 basketball player at Winthrop, Bjorn uses his skills and experience to create IRL basketball content that includes 1v1, 5v5 and hilarious skits that all athletes can relate to and understand.

CC: The all-time leading scorer at Peking University, leading them to the 2015 National Championship in China. CC is also one of the founding members of the heavily influential CL streetball team.

In the 2024 PlayStation NBA Creator Cup, Team Professor edged out Team Lethal in a 78–77 nail-biter at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Cam Wilder led all scorers with 24 points, while Trey Phillis added 16 and hit the game-winning shot. Team Lethal held the lead throughout the entire game, led by LSK’s 21 points and 18 points apiece from Marcelas Howard and T-Jass, but Phillis’ layup with 6.4 seconds to go gave Team Professor its first lead and earned him MVP honors.

The PlayStation NBA Creator Cup thrives on a unique balance of elite basketball and creator energy — bringing together former pros, ex-college athletes, and digital creators for a competitive run that fuses hoops with culture.

YPK Raye, a Vegas native and two-time PlayStation NBA Creator Cup participant, is grateful to be back in the mix again.
