Michigan Football needs to get a win on the road against Nebraska on Saturday to avoid a 2-2 start. Here are a few bold predictions for the matchup, including another big day on the ground for QB Bryce Underwood:The Michigan Wolverines had a get-right game at home last week against Central Michigan, but now it’s time to hit the road again. Michigan is 0-1 away from home so far this year after losing at Oklahoma in Week 2. Starting the season 2-2 would be disastrous, so the Wolverines need to find a way to get a win in Lincoln against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Here are a few bold predictions for the matchup.Quarterback Bryce Underwood was finally utilized in the run game last week against Central Michigan, and it completely changed the offense. Who cares how bad the Chippewas are — we haven’t seen the offense look like that in a long time.Underwood finished with 114 rushing yards and two touchdowns, and he didn’t even play the whole game. The coaching staff knows Underwood running the ball adds a whole new element to this offense, so I believe Underwood will have another big day on the ground this weekend.Hopefully Michigan fans finally get to see Rod Moore in action this weekend. We haven’t seen Moore on the field since the National Championship in Jan. 2024 due to the knee injury he suffered last spring. It sounds like he is ready to go for this weekend, but that was also the case before the CMU game, so who knows for sure. With the magnitude of this game, however, it feels likely he will play.If Moore does play against Nebraska, it’ll be a huge boost for the secondary. He is a game-changer for the Wolverines, and he will come up with a big play if he’s out there. Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola hasn’t thrown an interception yet this year, but Moore will change that.Did I predict Michigan would win by two scores at Oklahoma? Yes. Did that happen? No. Well, I’m doing it again.Michigan was able to hang around with the Sooners and was in the game until the end, even with the disappointing offensive performance. The Cornhuskers almost lost to Cincinnati in Week 1 in what was essentially a home game at Arrowhead Stadium. Michigan’s new-look offense will shine again in a huge road win on Saturday.
