Liverpool have had a pretty quiet January transfer window and there's little time left before the window slams shut at the end the day.Arne Slot's squad is blessed with depth and quality, while the Reds have managed to stay largely injury free this season to help them lead the Premier League table - so signings are not a must this month. But one or two new additions would certainly not hurt Liverpool's bid to become Premier League champions for the first time since 2020 as Slot aims to lead the team to glory in his first season. The Reds are also fighting on multiple fronts and more bodies would be a help, with the team still in the running to win the league, Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Champions League. With that in mind, Mirror Football has taken a look at the biggest transfer news and rumours surrounding Liverpool.Liverpool given Kerkez hopeIf there's one player Liverpool have been constantly linked with in this window, it's Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez.Liverpool have good depth at left-back but might have to start thinking about the future in the position, with Andy Robertson putting in some under-par displays this season.Meanwhile, there have been concerns over the quality of back-up option Kostas Tsimikas to be the club's No 1 choice.Kerkez - who played against Liverpool in his side's 2-0 loss on Saturday - has been one of the most talked about players in his position in the Premier League this season and his displays have been a huge part of Bournemouth's surprise rise up the table. While there hasn't been an official bid, his national team boss Marco Rossi has given Liverpool hope of signing him by claiming an exit is "possible".He said: "As for Milos, he is playing very well, no one predicted that Bournemouth would be in this position in the league. The top English teams are watching him closely, it is possible that he will move, if not now, then at the end of the season."He is a very important player for us, we hope that he will succeed in developing himself in the national team, as he does in his clubRed monitoring Serbian starLiverpool might instead look to the future with possible signings after being linked with Serbian starlet Andrija Maksimovic.Maksimovic has unhelpfully been compared to Lionel Messi - which should be taken with a pinch of salt - but his performances for Red Star Belgrade have seen him turn heads across some of the top clubs in Europe. The 17-year-old has played 20 times for Belgrade this season, scoring three times and he's already picked up four caps for his country - signalling the huge potential he possesses. And with the midfielder now making serious waves, his agent has talked about the interest from some of the clubs - namedropping Liverpool as one of the teams monitoring his progress.Zoran Stojadinovic said: "It's no secret, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Leipzig, Atletico Madrid are among them. Clubs from the top leagues have shown interest."Starlet chased by Championship duoLiverpool fans will be fond of Jayden Danns and hold him in high esteem after his handful of performances for the team in the last year - and now it might be time for him to go and get more game time.According to Football Insider, Danns has interest from two Championship clubs in Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland.Blackburn have history of loaning Liverpool stars after bringing Owen Beck from the Reds this season, while they've previously taken Harvey Elliott and Tyler Morton.Image: Liverpool FC/Liverpool FC via Getty Images) Liverpool FC/Liverpool FC via Getty Images)Sunderland have also taken Liverpool players on loan in the past after signing Ovie Ejaria in 2018.However, the two teams have competition elsewhere, with the report claiming that at least three more clubs from the Championship are also looking at the 19-year-old forward.Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content.
