The new Emirates FA Cup season will commence in early August for the 2025-26 campaign

The round dates for four of our FA Competitions in the 2025-26 season have now been confirmed.

Football fans across the world will now be able to add the dates to their calendars, from the preliminary rounds in the early stages of the seasons, right through to the Finals next May.

In the Emirates FA Cup, the action kicks-off on across the weekend of Saturday 2 August with the extra preliminary round taking place. And the 2025-26 Final at Wembley Stadium will be played on Saturday 16 May 2026.

The Isuzu FA Trophy and FA Vase will begin later on Saturday 23 August with the preliminary round and first round qualifying respectively, while the Finals of both competitions will be played on Non-League Finals Day on Sunday 17 May 2026.

In the FA Youth Cup, the preliminary rounds will begin in the week commencing Monday 1 September before the competition proper will start with the first round from Saturday 1 November.

We can also confirm the dates when participating clubs will be announced for the 2025-26 season will be confirmed, and also the preliminary and qualifying round draws.

On Thursday 26 June 2025, we shall be releasing the below information for each competition;

• List of clubs accepted into each competition (Clubs not accepted into a competition shall be notified separately regarding that competition on the same date)

• List of clubs to receive exemption

• Prize fund

On Friday 4 July 2025, we shall be releasing the below information;

• The Emirates FA Cup – Extra Preliminary Round and Preliminary Round draws

• The Isuzu FA Trophy – Preliminary Round and First Round Qualifying draws

• The Isuzu FA Vase – First Round Qualifying and Second Round Qualifying draws

• The FA Youth Cup – Preliminary Round and First Round Qualifying draws
