He's the son of Australian sporting royalty and now Jackson Warne is starting a new chapter inspired by his famous father.The 26-year-old has stepped behind the microphone, launching his new podcast, Warne's Way, speaking to some massive names while also sharing stories of the late great Shane Warne."Everybody who I've met the last three or four years, everybody has a Shane Warne story," Jackson told Today.Subscribe to the Today newsletter here. (Instagram)READ MORE: 'Don't you dare!': Karl in trouble for flinging horse poo at Sarah"Whether it be they've met him in the smokers at Crown late at night, or they've met him at the petrol station or wherever it was - everybody has a Shane Warne story."Jackson revealed the idea to do a podcast first came to him in 2018, when he was talking with his dad about the pair teaming up for a project where they speak with some of his celebrity friends about their experiences together."Dad was such a good storyteller that personally, I would love to listen to him tell his tales," Jackson said.And even though his father couldn't be here today to help bring the podcast to fruition, Jackson said the stories he has heard from his guests makes him feel closer to Shane, even after his death."It's almost in a way like I'm talking to dad, because the things they're saying would be what dad would be saying as well," he said."It's making me remember exactly who dad was and it's just really comforting."Jackson revealed the idea to do a podcast first came to him in 2018. (Today)READ MORE: Outlander spin-off star reveals special connection to originalIt has been three years since Shane Warne died, during a health trip to Koh Samui, Thailand and during Jackson's chat with Karl and Sarah, he revealed what he misses most about his dad."I actually miss everything to be honest," he said."Even the smallest things with dad were so much fun, whether it be playing poker or the late-night Maccas drive-thru runs, whatever it was, it was always exciting."He sort of lived life on a little bit different rules, so I miss all those little things. Dad watching the Saint Kilda Football Club, I reckon he would have loved Top Gun: Maverick, he loved the first one, so I would have loved to have watched the second one with him or the F1 movie."Hear Jackson's full chat with Today in the video above
