Marrakech – Bank of Africa has unveiled two limited-edition bank cards featuring Morocco’s football star Brahim Diaz ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025.

The tournament, which Morocco will host from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, for the first time since 1988, has prompted the bank to release these special cards in partnership with Visa.

The new cards include GOAL 25, a prepaid card showcasing national colors, and GOLD CAN, a premium international withdrawal and payment card. Both cards feature the image of Brahim Diaz, Real Madrid’s offensive midfielder and Moroccan international, who was recently appointed as Visa’s official ambassador for AFCON 2025.

“I am extremely proud and honored to partner with such an iconic global brand as Visa,” said Diaz. “Football represents passion, connectivity, and excellence. I look forward to collaborating to bring the excitement of the game to fans and inspire the next generation in Morocco and beyond.”

The initiative aims to connect Moroccans of all demographics to this historic sporting event. GOAL 25 targets both clients and non-clients with its simple, accessible format, while GOLD CAN focuses on premium customers seeking to combine banking services with football enthusiasm.

Bank of Africa has also launched a national raffle offering AFCON 2025-related experiences. Customers who subscribe to a BOA Visa card or make payments with existing cards until December 15 will automatically enter the draw.

Prizes include VIP packages to attend matches, tickets to support Morocco live, and collector boxes featuring the official tournament jersey and ball.

In a similar move last September, CIH Bank revealed its “Dima Maghrib” card in national colors, available in multiservice and local prepaid versions. CIH cardholders received exclusive presale access to tournament tickets on September 25-26, before general public sales began on September 27.

The CIH card also offered additional benefits, including premium advantages through the CIH African Legends mobile game developed with Visa, and opportunities to win match tickets and VIP experiences through raffles throughout the competition.

Other financial establishments are also joining the wave of nationwide excitement surrounding Africa’s premier football tournament, accompanying Morocco’s preparations to host the continental championship with dedicated initiatives and public engagement efforts.
