Jules Kounde dreaming of Barcelona quadruple after Atletico Madrid win

Jules Kounde isn’t getting carried away but did admit he is dreaming of winning the lot with Barcelona this season.

Hansi Flick’s side have already bagged the Spanish Super Cup and remain in contention in La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.

Kounde says he believes Barcelona have a team capable of winning all four trophies.

“Yes, we can afford to dream, we are well placed in all competitions, qualified for the Copa del Rey final,” he told reporters. “The road is still long, but we believe in it, we have the team to do it. If we continue to work as we have been since the beginning of the season, anything is possible. “There’s no such thing as chance. In football, you have to have a bit of luck, but luck can be made. We’re working very well, the coach is doing a very good job. We, the players, understand his style of play, and every time we enjoy ourselves on the pitch, the results follow.”

Kounde also highlighted how Barca can play in different ways under Flick as he looking forward to a Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid.

“I think we can play in different ways,” he said. “This season, we’ve had to suffer more than we wanted, like against Benfica. In the second half, they attacked harder, and we lacked composure, we lost too much of the ball. But we knew how to manage the match differently, and I’m very happy about that,” he added. “A Clasico always has a special flavor. We know they’re a very dangerous team, a great team. It’s true that we did well in the first two games, but I’m sure they’ll give it their all on the pitch.”

In the meantime, Barca will continue their La Liga title push on Saturday against Real Betis.
