TBR Football can exclusively reveal that Liverpool and Manchester United were both spoken to by Victor Osimhen’s representatives in recent days.The Nigeria international has been one of the biggest names in each of the last few transfer windows, and he has been linked with several clubs.TBR Football confirmed Liverpool’s interest in Osimhen recently, while Manchester United have been looking at him for a long time.The Napoli striker’s representatives held talks with both clubs over a move, and a final decision has now been made.Victor Osimhen has decided not to wait for Liverpool and Manchester UnitedTBR Football’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, can exclusively reveal that Victor Osimhen has decided against waiting for Liverpool and Manchester United.Galatasaray are hoping to secure Osimhen’s return to Istanbul on a permanent deal and have agreed personal terms with the striker.TBR can reveal that in recent days, representatives and intermediaries have again spoken with his English suitors to make them aware that if they wanted him, they would need to step up.Gala fell in love with Osimhen during his outstanding loan spell from Napoli last season, but his dream move was to seal a switch to the Premier League.There is interest in England with Liverpool and Manchester United both engaging with his people this summer, but they have not stepped up with a firm offer to this point. The two Premier League giants have been spoken to again in recent days, but as yet, no bid has arrived or is expected to.Sources have confirmed to TBR Football that whilst Osimhen would like to move to England, he is not going to wait all summer with the hope of a switch to Liverpool, Manchester United or another Premier League club. That is why he is now ready to commit to Galatasaray.Napoli are not demanding his full release clause of £64 million, but they want around £55 million. Gala are ready to make that offer or close to it, as a deal is now close.The Turkish champions have agreed a three-year deal with Osimhen, who still has interest from Al-Hilal, but he has shown little inclination to move to the Saudi Pro League.Bailey told TBR: “There has been some interest in England in Osimhen and talks have taken place, but Galatasaray are making their push and Napoli want this done now.“I am told there has been contact with the likes of Liverpool and United, and whilst they like the player, a deal has just not been right for them to progress.“Osimhen has waited for as long as he can, but he now wants his future resolved, and that looks to be in Istanbul. The tragic loss of Diogo Jota also means they will need to reinforce that area.“Liverpool always wanted a new striker and are still aiming for one.”
