(Image: 2025 Manchester United FC)Manchester United youngster Zachary Baumann is close to a permanent transfer away from the club.Baumann, 18, is set to move away from United to kickstart his professional career.The midfielder has progressed through the academy and was part of a treble-winning Under-18 side in 2023/24. Baumann's move is close to being agreed and is set to be sealed before the transfer deadline.Baumann was born in Greater Manchester but is eligible to represent Ukraine's national team.Baumann became a citizen of Ukraine in November and is expected to eventually pledge his international allegiance to the country where both of his parents were born.Speaking to UNN, Baumann said last year: "I am very happy to have finally become a citizen of Ukraine and now I will be able to represent my country on the international stage."There is excitement, but it is positive because I feel the support of many people. I can't wait to meet the team. And forward to our victory.
