England’s victorious Lionesses were serenaded by thousands of supporters during an open-top bus parade and special ceremony in front of Buckingham Palace on Tuesday (29 July).

The Lionesses defended their European football crown at UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, beating Spain on penalties in a dramatic final on Sunday.

And having landed back home to a hero’s welcome in the UK on Monday, the celebrations continued in London as fans flocked to get a glimpse of the squad and their trophy.

The bus procession started shortly after midday and made its way down The Mall, the iconic road stretching from Buckingham Palace to Trafalgar Square that was the scene of the marathon and cycling road race finishes at the London 2012 Olympics.

The players then hopped off to continue the party in front of the palace, with the ceremony taking place at the Queen Victoria Memorial.
