(Photo by Patrick McDermott/Getty Images)Napoli are now on the lookout for a new centre-forward to replace the injured Romelu Lukaku, and the Partenopei have been offered the chance to sign Milan target Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United, Football Italia understands.Napoli will be without Lukaku for several months following the confirmation of the injury he suffered during a pre-season friendly victory over Olympiacos last week.Read more: Napoli could drop Lukaku from Champions League and Serie A squadsSome options, such as Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson, have been deemed too expensive for Antonio Conte’s side, but the club are currently intending to bring in a new striker who offers a similar profile to Lukaku.Napoli offered Hojlund to replace LukakuAs was initially reported by Gianluigi Longari, Napoli have recently been offered the chance to sign Hojlund from Manchester United.The Denmark international has been subject of interest from Serie A rivals Milan for several weeks, as Massimiliano Allegri and his team look for a new striker to compete with Santiago Gimenez. The Rossoneri have also looked at the possibility of signing Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus.However, Milan are no longer the only team in Italy in with a chance of striking a deal with Manchester United for Hojlund.Napoli are expected to make evaluations in the near future before deciding which transfer leads to pursue.
