The English joined the Reds as a teenager and had all the promise in the world. He's shown glimpses of world-class talent at times too, but with first team opportunities being limited, he's reportedly open to moving on. There are a handful of teams interested in his services, but Liverpool fans will be sad to see him go. Klopp himself has regrets about Elliott and his treatment of him during the German's time at Anfield. He revealed that he wishes he'd played the star more than he did. In quotes shared via SportBible, he said:"It's not that I go back and think, 'OK, what did we all do wrong?' But if I regret one thing a little bit, it's that Harvey didn't play often enough, maybe. Because in a very important, intense period – January, a lot of injuries – he played really good. He was probably our best player – right wing, right midfield, all these kinds of things. "Everybody came back and he had minutes here, minutes there and he didn't start anymore."Elliott joined Liverpool from Fulham in 2019 and since then, the 22-year-old has played 147 times for the Reds. 119 of those appearances came under Klopp, but the majority saw him come off the bench without enough time to have sufficient impact on games. Still, he's managed to score 15 goals and assist a further 20 during his Liverpool career and should he leave the club this summer, he'll make another team significantly stronger heading into next season. All statistics courtesy of Transfermarkt and accurate as of 27/06/2025
