Manchester United target Bryan Mbeumo has posted to social media as interest ramps up in his services. Ruben Amorim's side have submitted a second offer in excess of £60million for the Brentford attacker, as the 25-year-old's activity online has attracted the attention of defender Leny Yoro.

The Cameroon forward continues to enjoy his downtime after a superb season with the Bees, but there is growing uncertainty whether he will reconvene with his teammates when they return for pre-season in July. Tottenham Hotspur are said to be eyeing his services after Thomas Frank made the cross-London switch to the Europa League holders.

Already, United have had an opening bid, totalling £55m, rejected, but they have remained confident of concluding a blockbuster deal for the attacker.

While the ongoing speculation surrounds his future, Mbeumo took to social media to showcase what he has got up to during his time away from competitive football.

In an Instagram post, the 25-year-old posted a carousel of pictures and videos from his adventures after the gruelling Premier League season with the caption: "Time off so far [man getting massage emoji]."

Mbeumo experienced Roland Garros as well as a scenic trip to Canada, where he was interviewed during a trip to the F1's Canadian Grand Prix.

Among those to offer support was United defender Leny Yoro amid the prospect that the pair could go from opponents to teammates for the forthcoming campaign, which kicks off at home against Arsenal.

The MEN understands that United have identified the Premier League forward as the ideal option to enhance operations on the right side of their attack.

The Old Trafford club have held an interest in a number of targets, including Sporting CP starlet Geovany Quenda - who worked with the current United boss - but missed out as he opted to move to Chelsea.

Should Mbeumo join, he would be the second summer signing alongside Matheus Cunha, after he signed from Wolves.

And if a deal is completed, United's business won't be stopping there, with the club looking to sign another forward in the form of a starting striker.

Pre-season is on the horizon for Amorim as he hopes to inspire seismic change in order to rectify their horror show in the Premier League last term.

They finished just above the relegation zone, marking their worst top-flight performance in over 50 years, before losing in the Europa League final against Spurs.

United are set to return on July 7 before travelling Stateside, arriving in Chicago to begin their three-match tour.
