St Kilda has confirmed its 2026 VFL coaching panel, headlined by Senior Coach Brendon Goddard.After leading the VFL side in 2025 with Sandringham, Goddard will now take charge of the revitalised standalone program based at RSEA Park.He will be joined by decorated VAFA premiership coach Simon Williams as Senior Assistant Coach. Williams has spent the past three seasons coaching the St Kevin’s College First XVIII and will also oversee the backline.Damian Carroll and Lenny Hayes will continue as line coaches for the forwards and midfield. Goddard, Carroll and Hayes will also maintain their development roles within the Saints AFL program.Former St Kilda teammate of Hayes and Goddard, Farren Ray, returns to the club as VFL Development Coach. Ray previously held an assistant coaching role with St Kilda’s inaugural AFLW program and has spent the past three seasons coaching at St Paul’s McKinnon in the Southern Football Netball League.“In an exciting new era for the club, it is a privilege to be joined by a panel of talented coaches to begin this next chapter of Saints footy as we launch our standalone VFL program,” Goddard said.“This opportunity allows us to align our programs and strengthen our player development, game plan and list management.“We are looking forward to welcoming our VFL staff and players to pre-season at Moorabbin on Monday as we begin our journey in the league in red, white and black.”St Kilda’s VFL program will commence pre-season training tomorrow, Monday 17 November at RSEA Park.ST KILDA VFL 2026 COACHING LINE UP
