Inter Miami delivered another show at the Chase Stadium, and once again, the spotlight belonged to Lionel Messi. The Argentine captain produced a brilliant performance with two goals and one assist in the 4-0 win over Atlanta United, moving Javier Mascherano’s side into second place in the Eastern Conference of the MLS, tied on points with FC Cincinnati.

Released by coach Lionel Scaloni to play this weekend before rejoining the Argentina National Team, Messi reached 26 goals in the season and once again dazzled the fans with his trademark brilliance. In the 32nd minute, the Argentine broke the deadlock with a curling left-footed strike that sailed into the far post, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

Minutes later, in the 52nd, Messi delivered a spectacular 40-meter assist to Jordi Alba, who calmly finished with an elegant chip. It was an emotional moment for the Spanish defender, who had recently announced his retirement from professional football.

The Messi show didn’t stop there. In the 61st minute, Uruguayan forward Luis Suárez added his name to the scoresheet with a powerful right-footed strike from outside the box to make it 3-0, as the crowd erupted in celebration. Finally, Messi sealed the night with his second goal of the match — his 26th of the MLS season — reaffirming his dominance in the league.

From the stands, several of his Argentina teammates — including Rodrigo De Paul, Leandro Paredes, and Nicolás Otamendi — cheered every play with visible pride. The atmosphere at the Chase Stadium was electric, filled with admiration for the Argentine superstar, who continues to prove that his brilliance knows no bounds.

Inter Miami remains determined to chase its first MLS title, and as long as Messi is on the pitch, every match feels like another chapter in the story of the greatest of all time.
