Picture: Mark MarlowClones has been confirmed as the venue for the Ulster Senior Football Championship final between Donegal and Armagh.The final will take place on Saturday May 10 in St Tiernach’s Park to facilitate the Ulster Senior Ladies’ Football Championship final, which is also between Donegal and Armagh.♦ All the action from Donegal v Down todayThe two games will be part of a double-header in order to promote the Ladies’ game in Ulster.Donegal secured their spot in the Ulster SFC final with a convincing win over Down in their semi-final, a day after Armagh booked their place in the final in dramatic fashion against bitter rivals Tyrone.Both semi-finals also took place at St Tiernach’s Park.There was talk of the final being moved to Croke Park to cope with the demand of the well-supported counties of Donegal and Armagh.However, the Ulster council has chosen to keep the Ulster final in the province and in Clones.This year sees a repeat of last year’s clash between Donegal and Armagh, with the latter appearing in their third-straight provincial final, losing the previous two on penalties to Derry and Donegal.
