Babar Azam-led Peshawar Zalmi took part in an exhibition match against the Legends XI team on Saturday (August 30). Pakistan great Inzamam-ul-Haq captained the Legends' team in the 15-over fixture. All eyes were on Babar going into the contest. Despite not being part of the T20I team now, he remains the most talked-about Pakistan cricketer. The former Pakistan captain did not disappoint the fans and smashed 41 off 23 balls. He was dismissed by Saeed Ajmal.

The manner of Babar's dismissal gave the netizens another reason to troll him. The right-handed batsman tried to hit the spinner for a lofted shot but he missed the ball completely.

Babar had a big smile on his face as he was walking back to the pavilion. He acknowledged the bowler's effort while leaving the playing area. "Babar Azam exhibition match me bhi clean bowled ho gyaa," a user wrote on X while sharing his dismissal's video. His post has more than 5 lakh views.

Babar has been out of Pakistan's T20I side since the home series against New Zealand, which took place after the 2025 Champions Trophy. He captained Pakistan in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Pakistan's poor performance in the ICC event, combined with his below-par batting in T20Is, eventually led to his ouster from the team.

Shaheen Afridi made his return to the T20I squad and is part of the Asia Cup team. ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan isn't part of the squad.

Pakistan's Asia Cup fixtures

Pakistan, who haven't won the T20 Asia Cup so far, will kick off their campaign against Oman on September 12. They will lock horns with India on September 14. Pakistan will take on UAE in their last league stage fixture on September 17.

India and Pakistan could end up locking horns thrice if the results go in their favour. The final of the tournament is scheduled to be played on September 28.
