LOS ANGELES – Michigan State's troubles in West Coast games continued on Saturday (though most of the damage was done after midnight) in Los Angeles. USC's conveyor belt to the end zone only hiccuped a couple of times, while MSU lost several players to injury, only had spurts of offensive punch and presented almost zero resistance on defense.And so the Spartans took the long flight home as losers for the first time this season, falling to the Trojans 45-31.
