The 2025 ATP Halle Open edition is heating up nicely with top players set to battle it out to reach the finals. Only four men are still in contention as we head into the semifinals ahead of what promises to be an entertaining day of tennis. As always, we here at LWOT will be offering our predictions for every match, but who will secure their spot in Sunday’s final?ATP Halle Semifinal PredictionsAlexander Bublik vs Karen KhachanovHead-to-head: Khachanov 1-0 BublikWhat a week Alexnader Bublik is having. The Kazakh first took out the top seed Jannik Sinner and then backed that up with a solid win over Tomas Machac. He now faces Karen Khachanov who has had a decent year but is yet to win a title this year. This match could very well be decided by who serves better and that at the moment looks like Bublik. Khachanov has played a decent tournament himself so it won’t be easy for any player to gain the upper hand.Khachanov is highly consistent from the baseline but it’s likely Bublik will use a drop shots to expose Khachanov’s game at the net. Expect a tight battle between the two but on form and variety, Bublik looks like he will emerge victorious.Prediction: Bublik in 3Embed from Getty ImagesDaniil Medvedev vs Alexander ZverevHead-to-head: Medvedev 12-7 ZverevWe have a blockbuster semifinal match on our hands with third seed Daniil Medvedev, who seems to have at last found his footing this year, taking on Alexander Zverev, the second seed, who is playing on home turf. Both players enter this match having won six out of six sets.Medvedev hasn’t had any monentum this year but this week he has looked near his best and that is trouble for Zverev especially as the German has lost six out of the last seven matches to Medvedev. Expect Zverev to enter this match full of confidence and take a set but as Medvedev settles into his rhythm, but for the Russian to ultimately prove too strong for Zverev.Prediction: Medvedev in 3Main photo credit: Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports
