Rabiot contacted directly by Napoli and AC Milan with €6m salary

Adrien Rabiot has been put on the market by Olympique Marseille, so we can exclusively confirm Napoli spoke directly to his mother today, while Milan are eager if they make a sale first.

The midfielder has protested the decision to push him out, but Roberto De Zerbi was adamant today that the brawl with Jonathan Rowe and too tardy apology made it inevitable.

A return to Serie A would be top of his wish list and there are several different clubs interested in the former Juventus midfielder.

Napoli and Milan call up Rabiot

Football Italia can exclusively confirm that Napoli spoke directly to his mother-manager Veronique today.

It was just to ask for information at this stage, but we will see if it develops any further.

The important information they wanted to know was his salary, which is under €6m until June 2026.

Meanwhile, Milan again asked to be kept in the loop and are certainly interested if they first manage to sell a midfielder to make room.

There are also clubs in Turkey who are eager to pick up Rabiot, who did not expect to be moving on again so soon.
