More infoManor Solomon has delivered a message to Junior Firpo after it was confirmed that the defender would be leaving Leeds United as a free agent.Firpo played a key role in helping Leeds win the Championship title last season and secure automatic promotion to the Premier League in the process.The left-back made 35 appearances for United last season in what has turned out to be his final campaign at Elland Road.Firpo's contract at Leeds was scheduled to expire on Monday (June 30) and there were rumours for months around whether or not the 28-year-old would put pen to paper on an extension.However, Firpo has now left Leeds as a free agent with July 1 rolling around and no contact extension being agreed to remain with the club.After the news was confirmed, Firpo posted a video on Instagram to his 576,000 followers from his time at Leeds. The defender included the post with a caption that read: "Marching on together," accompanied by white, blue and yellow love heart emojis.Solomon, who spent last season on loan at Leeds from Tottenham Hotspur, then shared a message to Firpo by leaving a comment on the post. Solomon wrote: "All the best mi hermano [my brother].It remains to be seen where Firpo will be playing his football next season - amid rumours that the left-back will return to Real Betis as a free agent in the next few days or weeks.Solomon has also been linked with a transfer this summer, with rumours about a possible return to Elland Road with Leeds. The forward scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists for United last term and, also, scored the winner against Plymouth Argyle on the final day of the season, which clinched the Championship title.
