Ball boys are integral part of a cricket match, and it is the enthusiasm they bring to the table with their raw energy, that has stood out over the years.

In the 54th match of IPL 2024 between Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders, a young kid stationed as a ball boy near the third man boundary took a fine catch when Stoinis hit it over the ropes and the genuine happiness that was seen on his face after the grab was a sight to behold.

Everyone on the ground was thrilled for the kid and LSG fielding coach, Jonty Rhodes even asked the boy for an autograph with his kind gesture from dugout.

It was the fifth ball of the third over of LSG's innings and Vaibhav Arora bowled it short, outside off. Stoinis hit an upper-cut that went over the ropes only to be catched by the ball boy behind the ropes. The grab surely made his day while Stoinis also was pretty happy with the timing he got on that shot.

At the time of writing, LSG are 77-3 in the 9th over with Stoinis holding one end up as the home team try to chase down a massive target of 235.
