Guler lets fly from 30 yards and Kalmurza saves, despite an awkward bobble. It was straight at him.

However, whereas earlier he had a chance to gallop with the ball, the future Chelsea striker is how chasing Huijsen and Alaba, having been unable to gate on the end of a hopeful long ball.

Tapalov, at full stretch, stops a Guler through ball reaching Mbappe, who otherwise looked poised to slot home.

Martynovich sells his goalkeeper short with a backwards header, Mastantuono gets there first and Kalmurza then catches his fellow 18-year-old. Easy penalty.

Madrid broke in a flash and that's a real warning for the home team.

Mbappe, on the right wing, receives a long ball from Huijsen and looks to be fouled by Mata, but the decision is a Kairat throw-in.

Real Madrid will feel hard done by on this occasion, but need to get Mbappe and Vinicius on the ball more.

Madrid half-clear the corner to Mata, who tries his luck from long range and shoots well wide.
