The detailed agenda has already been shared with committee members, and several crucial decisions that will impact the future of football in the country are expected.

According to Faizan Lakhani, the race for the position of PFF General Secretary has narrowed to two candidates — Shahid Khokhar and Colonel Hamdani — with the appointment to be decided during the session.

The PFF Executive Committee will also deliberate over domestic competitions, with updates on the launch of the franchise league, Premier League, and Challenge Cup forming part of the discussions. The formation of various committees, in line with the PFF constitution, will also be considered, and the federation’s annual budget is expected to be approved.

The meeting will also review and discuss the design for a new PFF logo as the newly elected federation works to stamp its own identity in line with Pakistan football’s return to normalcy.

Members will further deliberate on the PFF’s legal standing as an autonomous body, and discuss the process of retrieving records from the Normalisation Committee.

In addition, PFF President Mohsin Gilani will brief members on recent meetings with FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), as well as agreements with the football associations of Azerbaijan and China.
