‘Marcus Rashford rejects Premier League trio amid growing Man United to Barcelona links’

Marcus Rashford is continuing to push for a move to Barcelona after declines offers from three Premier League clubs.

Rashford has been frozen out of Manchester United by Ruben Amorim, and the Portuguese manager wants to cash in on the England international this summer.

The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season at Aston Villa, scoring four goals and contributing six assists in 17 appearances across all competitions.

Rashford is now searching for an exit route from Old Trafford, with Barcelona his top preference.

The Spanish club though are currently in negotiations for Athletic winger Nico Williams, but a transfer update has given Rashford hope for a move.

Barcelona keep Rashford dream alive

It is reported by Sport that even though Barcelona are working on a transfer for Williams, Rashford could still join the Spanish international at the Camp Nou.

Rashford’s desire to move to Spain means he has rejected approaches from three Premier League clubs.

Chelsea, Newcastle and Villa have all reportedly put in offers for Rashford, but the player has rejected them all.

Saudi Arabian clubs have also been unsuccessful in their proposals to Rashford.

The report continues to state that United will be demanding £34.1million to let Rashford leave the club, but Barcelona have told the forward to wait to be able to try and negotiate a lower fee later in the window.

A loan deal though is an ideal alternative for Barcelona, with Rashford willing to drop his wages to make the move happen.

Rashford will not back down in his determination to force a move to Barcelona even rejecting offers from English club’s who have all qualified for Europe next season.

The chance to play for one of the biggest names in world football is obviously too much to turn down for Rashford and he wants to try and take this opportunity whilst it is presented to him.

Barcelona need to sort their financial problems first to be able to sign Williams before they move onto Rashford, but a loan move would work for both parties.

United are pushing for a permanent transfer, but Amorim may still be satisfied with whatever way Rashford leaves for the season.

The Englishman needs the move to happen if he wants to force his way into Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad next summer.

Another destination seems unlikely as Rashford has his sights set on playing with Lamine Yamal.
