He said they are proud of Operation Sindoor. “The BJP only diverts the main issue. No one is asking how the terrorists entered Pahalgam. Approximately 10 lakh Army personnel have been deployed in the area but the terrorists killed people and left,” Owaisi said.

On his party’s future plans in Maharashtra, the AIMIM chief said his party was ready to contest the civic body elections independently across Maharashtra. “The BJP-led government is putting up a Hindu-Muslim show, instead of focusing on ground realities and working for the betterment of people. Muslims are being pushed back…” he said.

“The employment issue is serious but the Modi government has failed to handle it, relations with neighbouring countries are strained, the US tariffs on Indian exports has hit the economy,” Owaisi said.
