The Sweden international has become one of the summer’s biggest transfer stories, informing Newcastle of his desire to explore options as he aims to join the reigning Premier League champions.Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has faced daily questions over Isak’s future in recent weeks, while the sale of Darwin Nunez to Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal has boosted Liverpool with further transfer funds for a potential new bid. But away from all this, 16-year-old Moran has opted to leave the Reds academy to make the move to Tyneside.Moran was promoted from Liverpool's under-16s to the under-18s for the final three matches of last season, playing the full 90 minutes against Nottingham Forest, Wolves, and Sunderland. After rejecting a scholarship contract at Liverpool, Moran is set to join north-east rivals.Taking to Instagram to announce his decision, Moran shared a series of images showing his rise through the ranks as a youngster, including a picture with Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah."I have made the tough decision to leave Liverpool Football Club," the teenager wrote. "I want it to be known that this decision was not taken lightly and I have been honoured to represent the club, but I believe it’s best for my career and future opportunities to go elsewhere."I would like to thank all of my teammates, coaches and staff for all their hard work over these past 10 years, in not only shaping me to be the footballer I am, but most importantly the person I am today. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you. YNWA."His dad, Andy, responded: "We’re proud of you Son, you have grown into so much over the last 10 years, taking everything in your stride, calmness and determination personified. You’ve been privileged to play for Liverpool Football Club, ‘our’ club and in turn they have been fortunate to have you, someone who understands 100% what it means to represent that Red shirt. On to the next chapter..."Moran is reputedly represented by former Reds vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold’s PLG Agency.---For the latest news and breaking news, visit_ liverpoolecho.co.uk/all-about/liverpool-fc_.
