Mooney has played an important role in various positions in the Australian batting order across all formats over the past year. The stylish left-hander was the leading run-scorer with 409 runs at 68.16 in last summer’s CommBank Women’s Ashes series against England, which included a well-compiled 106 in the historic day-night Test at the MCG.The 31-year-old was also player of the series with 166 runs at 83 in Australia’s T20 series win over New Zealand in March.King also excelled in last summer’s comprehensive defeat of England, picking up player of the series honours for her 23 wickets.
