Richmond forward Tom Lynch has signed on with the Club for the 2026 season.

The contract extension will see the veteran forward enter an eighth season at Richmond and 16th in the AFL.

Lynch joined Richmond on a seven-year deal leading into the 2019 season and has been a stellar contributor with 227 goals across 102 games for the Club.

The veteran key forward has overcome an injury-riddled two seasons to be a consistent performer in 2025, playing 13 games as a focal point in attack.

Lynch has booted 19 goals this year, including multiple goals in six matches, and ranks #2 at the Club for contested marks.

His return to the AFL field tomorrow after a five-week suspension will be a welcome boost to the Tigers' lineup, such is his impact on his teammates.

The 32-year-old has been a significant presence for the Club’s talented crop of young key forwards in 2025, as a senior body and voice both on and off the field.

Richmond Executive General Manager, Football Talent, Blair Hartley, said that Lynch continued to have an important role to play at the Swinburne Centre.

“We are thrilled that Tom’s time at Richmond will extend into an eighth season and look forward to seeing what he can continue to achieve as part of our team.”
