Manchester United have just three weeks to wait before the summer transfer window closes for another year and the speculation will come to an end, for the time being.

United have made three signings so far this summer - with Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko all moving to Old Trafford. Despite already getting some of their business done before the start of the Premier League season, there is still time for more deals to be completed.

Ruben Amorim and his men begin their top-flight campaign on Sunday when they host Arsenal at Old Trafford. It remains to be seen if Sesko will be United's final signing of the summer or if there will be any further additions to the squad.

Here, The Manchester Evening News takes a look at some of the latest United transfer news and gossip that has generated headlines over the last 24 hours;

Gianluigi Donnarumma decision

United have been handed a major update regarding the future of PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

PSG have left the goalkeeper out of their travelling squad for the UEFA Super Cup this week amid speculation of a potential move to United. Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Donnarumma will leave PSG after the decision - but it could either be this summer for a fee or as a free agent when his contract expires 12 months from now.

The Manchester Evening News says: United have been linked with a swoop for Donnarumma for some time now, and the speculation is not going away. The latest update argues a move away from PSG is becoming increasingly likely, but whether that could lead to a move to Old Trafford remains to be seen.

Jadon Sancho update

United have been handed an update on Jadon Sancho's future at the club.

Football Italia have reported that three clubs in Serie A are showing an interest in signing Sancho this summer. Juventus are mentioned as a potential destination - while Inter Milan and Roma are also looking at signing him.

It has been claimed Inter view Sancho as a back-up to Ademola Lookman, who is their prime target. Roma are also reported to have made an approach to United over a potential deal for Sancho - but it's not stated if this would be a loan or permanent agreement.

The Manchester Evening News says: Sancho looked all-set to join Chelsea for £25million this summer, but the final decision from the west Londoners not to activate the clause has created uncertainty around the forward's future. With Sancho informing United earlier this summer of his desire to leave the club, and continued interest from Italy, it seems an exit is moving closer to becoming a reality.
