Twitter reacts as Sanju Samson hides disappointment with sheepish smile

India started slowly after being put in to bat in their Asia Cup T20 2025 Super Four match against Bangladesh in Dubai. But openers Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill made up for it with their stunning assault in the last three overs of the powerplay to power India to 72/0, their highest six-over score in the tournament.

Hardik Pandya walked in at five, but with eight overs remaining to play, Tilak Varma and Axar Patel were sent ahead of Sanju Samson. The wicketkeeper-batter was not impressed but hid his disappointment with a sheepish smile as he waited patiently for his opportunity.
