South African batter Dewald Brevis decimated the Australian bowling attack to hit a 41-ball century during the second T20I between both sides at the Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin on Tuesday, becoming the youngest centurion from his country in this format. Known as Baby AB (on South African great AB de Villiers) for his range-hitting abilities and playing style, Brevis set the stage on fire with his 56-ball 125-run innings.

The 22-year-old hit 12 fours and eight sixes and ended up scoring the highest individual total by a South African in this format. His blitzkrieg knock helped South Africa post a massive total of 218 runs. Brevis’ 41-ball ton is also the second fastest T20I century by a South African.
